The story of The Hobbit takes place before the Lord of the Rings. Indeed in the Lord of the Rings, we found that Gandalf and Bilbo Baggins (Bilbo Baggins) already know. In The Hobbit we will see their initial meeting and the adventures that will link these two characters.
